Naomi has played very few matches at this level. She's 23, but only played ITF's since July and has just 6 ITF ranking points which give her a ranking of 740

(Just to be ultra clear, an ITF ranking of 740, not a WTA one)
I'm hoping Lambda can fill us in a bit - I'm sure Naomi is the product of college tennis, hence why she's barely played ITFs

But I've no idea how she did at college
I did say ITF points
College looks highly likely. She did play juniors but only reached JR1770 - and then there is a gap until last year.

I know You said ITF points, but not ITF ranking - and I just wanted to be doubly clear - because it's easy to read ranking and assume WTA ranking, if you're reading quickly
Looking at Naomi's results at college it is difficult to tell her level. She was clearly too good for the level Texas A&M, Corpus Christie plays at as she won all her singles matches in team play last season that were completed, and many of them without dropping a game or by dropping just 1 game. Perhaps the last college match she played is the best indicator which was against Mary Stoiana and was 4-6 0-0 unfinished. That she could hold her own for a set against the No 1 ranked college player last season when the rest of her team were losing easily maybe says she shouldn't be taken lightly.
