Well a win would have been nice, but Mika obviously battled despite an injury and Mimi was in no way disgraced by the number one seed. Lets hope Mimi continues to do well in the doubles and has a kinder draw if she gets through qualies next week.

I didn't see it (the injury - only watched the last set), but her left thigh was heavily bandaged. It didn't seem to affect her movement that much but I don't think she could push up properly whilst serving and her serve was all over the place.
