 Maaya is the great feel-good story of Indian female tennis at the moment - only 15 - just moved to the Nadal academy - used to be tiny but has grown a bit now - and suddenly posting some big results (like her two wins in qualifying here, beating top-300 players)

There should be rather a lot of crowd noise here smile

Lily withdrew. Shows on the PDF of the draw as Gastrointestinal illness  cry  cry

Von Deichmann and Maria have also withdrawn with the same thing

And three retirements with the bug today.

Eden+ were down and out in that second set but scraped it back to win 7-5 7-5  the Americans were NOT happy ....
