And she won. Extraordinary. A very adult game in a body that's only going to get stronger. And not bish-bash either. More 2009 rivals coming up every day.

Yes. I love following all the youngsters and this has been a real story.

And huge credit to the talent scout at the Rafa Nadal academy too (Natalia something or other)

She scouted Maaya a couple of months ago, back end of 2024.

Maaya went and was assessed, and then awarded a full scholarship for 12 months

And I guess Natalia is smiling now

Yes I hope Natalia gets a good bonus for that one, seems she identified a real cracker. Long way to go but would be fantastic for India to have another tennis superstar to follow Mirza.
