Can't remember whether I mentioned it but, from Thursday, and on livestream again today, Anton has added some good net play to his game
And it's a really welcome addition
He never used to really like coming to the net - was often a little slow to get there
But with someone who hits the ball as hard as he does, but doesn't take it particulalry early, he absolutely has to take advantage of that shot and come in to finish easy points off
And he's doing that a lot more
(Now if George too could take a lesson out of that book, we'd have smiles all round - very much the same argument)
It isn't the ITF site that is down - it's internet problems elsewhere. I found that I couldn't access the site and some others using a BTinternet connection, but using my backup connection everything worked OK. I think it must be a problem with a DNS server (or 20)
Thanks TA that explains it as I've been having problems with my BT mail as well. I know the ITF scores have been dodgy for a while but I've always been able to get into the site!
Interestingly, they only met once before and that was
Last August, also at Roehampton, obviously outdoor hardcover. Arthur won in 3 sets with a 6-4 opening set. Hes won the opening set today also by 6-4.
