Jon, just wondering what the criteria were for inclusion in the vote? I liked the way Liam B kept plugging away and got top 100 briefly, and may well have voted for him in one of the groups. There seem to be a lot of lower ranked players included especially some of the college players but also others, who may well get no votes at all in the first round (unless they or their family are on here!). Just wondered ..I'm not criticising, and enjoy the votes and appreciate all the work you put in!

Hi Spireman - yeah, I tried not to use any judgement and would have liked Liam to be in it but..
Basically 32 men and 32 women.
From the 32 men/women, I took a very simple approach - first 3 ranked singles players, then top doubles player; then 4 to 6 singles, number 2 doubles etc. And down to 24 top ranked singles players and then 8 top ranked doubles players in each. When I hit a duplication (more on the womens side ie someone had already appeared in the list) I then just dropped down to the next player.
So, in essence, it should be each of the top 24 mens singles, 24 womens singles, 8 mens doubles and 8 womens doubles players and then dropping down a few as we hit duplications, largely in the womens side.
So there may be a few lower ranked players - maybe next year, I wont drop down and any spare places to make it up to 64 players in total (once we have the top 24/8 in womens and mens) can be some sort of wild card - but that would be a judgement call from me as I dont really want to have wild card votes and the like!
But yeah, Liam was the most obvious miss, not sure if anyone else jumped out, maybe Katie Swan missed out as well as her ranking had dropped...anyone else?
So someone like a Kat Barnes, who is in this group, would have snuck in, if I recall, from the lower edges once some of the women players had duplicated in singles and doubles.
Hope the logic makes sense, at least in terms of process, and I didnt miss too many other favourites out, aside from Liam and Katie!
