VOTE WILL CLOSE WEDNESDAY EVENING AT 9PM - IF YOU VOTE PLEASE DO SAY WHO AND WHY AND TRY AND PERSUADE OTHERS TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE - THIS IS A NO HOLDS BARRED COMPETITION AND I WILL PROVIDE REGULAR UPDATES. TACTICAL VOTING IS VERY MUCH ALLOWED!
Each group has 4 men and 4 women, no seeding, no trying to align players based on any perception of favouritism! Totally random apart from 4 men and 4 women!, and each group has 3 singles men/women and 1 doubles man/woman

If there are ties at the end of voting, the semis groups above will be followed as far as possible. If for example, 3 players tie for third in Group E, I will randomly draw one of them into semi 2 (as per post above) and the other 2 will be put into other groups (semi 1 and 3) to spread them out and avoid a reclash, where possible, in two successive rounds for tied players. This wont be an exact science, and depends on how many players tie and where etc, but folks will need to trust me to get it broadly right! And it is only a bit of fun!
I had to spend the day thinking about this group as I'm fond of Billy, Liv ans Lloyd. I went for Liv in the end, as I've enjoyed watching her advancement and the little bit I've seen of her playing.
Remember all the votes will be closed at 9pm tomorrow, Wednesday. The polls will actually lock at 9.25 or thereabouts but Ill start calling the vote as over and results as they stand at that point, starting with Group A and moving through to H.
The semis groups will then go up later tomorrow night and run through to 9pm Friday.
As they stand, there are no ties currently and 8 men and 16 women will proceed if nothing changes - but it will!
Just over 8 hours left. Just 32 votes in this group so far. 3rd and 4th are only 2 votes between them, so any extra votes could still influence things a lot
