2025 Favourite British Tennis Player - FINAL

As ever I will get the ball rolling. I only really follow mens tennis as a fan, the womens as an interested observer in the British players. But not really a fan of any of them over anyone else, more as a whole.

Im intrigued Emily made the final and that might have persuaded me to support her, but Im not a fan and shes not my favourite. So sorry!

So it is Jake or Henry and both have really excited me this year - but, sorry Henry, Jake is the one that really got me excited for mens tennis again and he takes my vote.

As mentioned, Jake and Jodie won both their groups to get here. On the other hand, Emily and Fran both got here without winning a group.

No doubts for me, it's Jake.

So yes, my Sonay vote in SF 2 was just to help shore up her total. as one of my top favourites. Hopefully Sonay does get a good vote in the final. I think theirs was a strong SF with, as Jon commented, such as Jack D and Mika in there too but left behind.

Voting for Jake here. Absolutely my favourite player of 2024 since early Summer and I'm so glad he turned fully pro just as Andy was retiring, to give me someone to follow with almost the same intensity.

I voted for Jodie in both the previous rounds and I got the impression I'm not the only one, so I think Jodie's vote may fall away somewhat.

Not yet for Sonay - she was, though, the single player with most votes across the previous two rounds in total.

Yes, I too voted for Jodie in the first two stages. Her SF though was the Group of Life and its reps may find life a bit tough in the final.
