Brooke was immediately broken back for 3-3. She has just saved 2 separate MPs. Now 5-5*
Had to go out - but, wow - two MPs saved - and then takes the third-set TB
and Emily App beat the other sister too. Which - as above - both confirms my assessment of the Jorge sisters AND delights me for the GB players' success
Already had a lovely 'kerching' day, betting against the Jorges (great odds on Brooke ), and now there's Marni - and hopefully Emma - to just be a pleasant way to wrap up the day

Not played any ITF there since 2013 as no catering and they complained about the courts and lighting
I attended today. Catering utterly appalling. Limited to three vending machines for sweets and cold fizzy drinks-two operated with cash only. Was advised to go to the National Squash Centre cafe ten minutes walk away. This was scarcely any better and featured a young lady who took ten minutes to create a cup of instant coffee. The whole set up was distinctly underwhelming, Zero indication that the event was taking place. Only one court with seated viewing facilities. Like so many of the LTA indoor venues which are used for ITF events the whole thing was as low key as humanly possible. If only these centres could look at Shrewsbury where all the stops are pulled out to make a great experience for players and spectators alike.
