I hadn't, I'll be interested to see the presser and see if Andy's mentioned.

Andy was mentioned- more on Novaks age and whether he has reached the end of his career. Wonder what Did Andy would do next???

Djoko described it as 'just a bad day at the office' - but you have to think those kind of days are only going to get more frequent the longer he carries on for.

I agree, some great rallies going on, esp that 22 shot one but you can't expect to drop your service 4 times out of 5 and beat a player like Tommy Paul. Improvement needed in the second set.

Just turned on and Cam gave his serve away but then Tommy Paul then gave his serve back to Cam. Both made so many silly mistakes.

Cam served three double faults in that last game

A lot of good to take away. Cam is beginning to look like his old self a bit more. He looks sharper but is not hitting with enough variation nor width. Hopefully he can add this now

Sadly I have to admit that even if Cam had managed to reach the tie break I would have picked TP to win that way.

If Cam's serve had been working I think he'd have had a good chance but it went missing in action on the day and what can you do when that happens.

Wonder what illness forced Machac to concede in his singles, seems to be fine in the doubles with Jack?

 Food poisoning? Migraine?

A reminder that the clocks have changed in the US - Jack is on at 6pm GMT

Brooksby hit the ground running 3-0 up in no time because he was playing the more freely he was the one playing like he had nothing to lose while Jack was a little uptight and it took him awhile to find any kind of flow

Brooksby coming off a 2 year injury lay off although only 24 he's still in the early stages of the comeback. Even in the first set the commentary describe B as 'puffing a bit'. Jack breaks back and it goes to 4 all.
