Hollie's result isn't in yet - and it's true, David, that WTA125 result was amazing for Maaya (born 2009)
But it was on hard and, although she's at Rafa's academy now, I don't think she'll have really adapted to clay yet
Whereas Hollie has a very clay sort of game
So I'm hopeful......

Hollie did well, but eventually lost (Maaya had some decent results on clay last year in Mexico, to add to her hard court success). Ben won against a strong Spaniard.

Boys R2

(7) Benjamin Gusic Wan d. Sergio Planella Hernandez (ESP) 7-6(5) 6-2

QF

(7) Benjamin Gusic Wan v Mickael Kaouk (FRA)

Girls R2

(5) Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi (IND) d. (Q) Hollie Smart 3-6 7-5 6-2

Good effort ..... I think Hollie was 3-6 4-2 up too...... but not strong enough to see out that second set.....

But still a very good effort....

Ben crashed out today, and with all our pairs losing early in doubles that ends British involvement here

Boys QF

Mickael Kaouk (FRA) d. (7) Benjamin Gusic Wan 6-0 6-2
