Oddly Flashscore has Ben and partner winning this match 6-2 6-3

Definitely the Swiss pair by the score quoted above, according to the ITF score sheet.  Sofascore also has them winning by that score, but lists the SF as:

SF:  Marko Maric & Tadija Radovanovic (FRA/SRB) CR 2475 (1363+1112) vs (2) Ben Jones & Amaury Raynel (FRA) CR 1110 (212+898)

confuse

Flashscore has at last corrected the result. Ben and partner NOT in the SF .

Yep, that's sure what's been happening for the last few weeks with the ITF boys. They're so bad

Anyway, somehow this week this is where 4 of  our 6 QF ITF guys have today progressed to the SF.

Stefan (& Antoine) buck the "dropping like flies" trend!

Final:  Antoine Berger (FRA) & Stefan Cooper CR 2385 (1648+737) vs Marko Maric & Tadija Radovanovic (FRA/SRB) CR 2475 (1363+1112)

My comment was intended to reflect the fact that those of our players who had pleasingly & arguably unexpectedly outperformed their rankings thus far this week can probably now be expected to bow to the inevitable & lose their next round match (& wasn't confined to ITF events):  Felix in Reus springs to mind.  wink  Ben here & Josh Paris (alongside Dan Cukierman) in the Menorca Challenger have also already succumbed, albeit to a pair of Italian WCs, one of whom just happens to have a WR of 7!  Dan Evans could well be about to follow them out of the exit door.  cry

Sadly, no second doubles title-winner today:

Final:  Marko Maric & Tadija Radovanovic (FRA/SRB) CR 2475 (1363+1112) defeated Antoine Berger (FRA) & Stefan Cooper CR 2385 (1648+737) by 4-6 7-6(3) [10-6]  cry

And it all started so well...  hmm
