Just for clarity, should anyone who is part of a group of players nominated also deserve a nomination as an individual, thats fine to go ahead and also do an individual nomination- its happened before with teams and doubles pairs. Alfie hewett and Alfie/ Gordon Reid is a good example in the same month, or the GB BJK Cup Team and Emma Rad at some point.
Just saying its fine - just in case anyone is wondering about nominating anyone that is part of the North West Juniors cohort !
1 Hannah Klugman for winning the J300 in Croatia on Clay!
2. North-West England Juniors - there have been three 'new' players at the 16U nationals who have really caught my eye and impressed - Aran Selvaraasan, April Sackflame and Annabel Wong - Aran in the final, April only 2012-born and Annabel who really tested Meg. AND - from what I can see - Aran is in Manchester, April is Bolton, and Annabel is Bramhall Lane, Stockport. So a tight little group. Huge well done to junior tennis up in the Manchester - great dynamic up there !!!!
3. Aran Selvaraasan - aged 14, coming through qualies, he won the Under 16 Nationals title. Fantastic, breakthrough performance
4. Megan Knight - aged 14, showed her talent by taking the under national title, now has the chance to build on it in the under 18 event; also, won the doubles title, convincingly, for a well deserved double title week

As we enter the business end of week 3 of 4 in the April period, our list looks good so far but would always benefit from more contenders - if any come to mind over the next week and a half, please add them to the list above as normal, with nominations closing Sunday 27th April
