With Henry/Harri, Lloyd/Julian and Arevalo/Pavic left in we have the top 3 pairs in the world this year left in here. Exciting to see three British players in those 6 names. With Arevalo/Pavic winning IW and Miami, they probably come out of the US as the form team, but we know Henry and Harri and Julian/Lloyd are at the top of their games also.

QF: (2) Harri Heliövaara (FIN) & Henry Patten CR 7 (3+4) defeated (ALT) Rafael Matos & Joran Vliegen (BRA/BEL) CR 73 (38+35) by 6-1 3-6 [10-5]
It was touch & go for a while at the start of that MTB!

SF: (WC) Romain Arneodo & Manuel Guinard (MON/FRA) CR 154 (83+71) vs (2) Harri Heliövaara (FIN) & Henry Patten CR 7 (3+4)
phew, but got there!
Arneodo was in the final here two years back , with Sam Weissborn, and almost took that title (lost 15-13 in an MTB or some such). On home turf, they could be tough opponents
Looking forward to these doubles semis - top 3 pairs in the world right now, Id say, plus a local player in the other pair. Very interesting to see how it plays through.
Like Miami, big weekend for our guys: Henry hasnt played an M1000 final and so today is a big opportunity to achieve that. Julian hasnt played lost one M1000 final and Lloyd has lost 2 of those, so theyll really want to push over the line.
Arevalo and Pavic are on a run though with IW and Miami titles already this year. Theyve got to be the favourites for this title and I think would take top spot in the race as a result
