I think Charlie has just retired at 4-4

I saw two games earlier on, with Charlie leading and looking OK

Hmm, Spizzirri who, purely by his win over Billy Harris in Miami MD R1, effectively prevented Billy from being a top 100 player post Miami.

 The stats show that there were 8 successive breaks of serve in the first set from *1-1 to *5-5. Then Charlie held for 6-5*. Then he had 3 SPs at 40-0*. And then he lost 10 points in a row and 12 from 13 to lose a rather wild first set. Impressive first set scoreline if a bit strange.
