Not a good look for British tennis. I dont mind a bit of feistiness but this is giving Mean Girls vibes

Nout to do with feistiness or really British tennis. All to do with Harriet Dart.

Harriet represents British tennis, she was just on our BJK cup team of course it has an effect on the perception of British Tennis

This is beyond tennis. What Harriet said, but even more so, the absence of a heartfelt, personal apology from her, speaks volumes for her true nature .. childish, spiteful,  immature

I hate to ask the question, but did the other girl actually smell bad?

Lois was on quite the upward trajectory then got derailed by an injury (not sure what). Now she's getting going again. Good player.

Up  to 179 comments on tennis forum. Harriet would have been better off  saying  nothing. Masses of   unfavourable comments on  various tennis forums.

Gonna be a bit tricky showing her face at tournaments in the coming months.

Harriet is probably wishing she'd skipped the clay altogether and gone to Japan or somewhere...

It was outside, there's some breeze

AND for the most part Harriet was down the other end of the court - surely she's not claiming she could smell her from that far away?

AND when sitting for the changeovers, they're not sitting right on each other's laps

I doubt she had more than a slight whiff 'en passant'

AND it is tennis - not knitting - people run around, they sweat, that sometimes smells a little

 Yup.

And I find myself wondering how many of Ms Dart's opponents may cash in on this gift in their interactions with her in the future. For someone of such a seemingly delicate psychological balance that could be enough to totally derail her.
