Well done to Jake, Cam and Jack. Especially Cam. Hope he is on the way back up, it has been a torrid few months for him. Re Katie, Emma and Sonay, tough draws in the second round and Katie with niggle. The ladies gave proved themselves on clay in the BJK cup reaching the finals again. The Davis cup the blokes havent perform for a while now.
Huge hoo-hah about the line-calling system - some electricity issue - a dud camera?
It's all suspended - lots of to-ing and fro-ing
After Zverev's photo (for which he got a warning) of the ball with the mark an inch out, that was called in, I imagine the powers that be are a bit frazzled by it all
I think he is Argentine TCU team mate or at least that's what I thought was said in previous match sat next to Mark. Fearnley breaks back, not before time attacking the Dimitrov first serve more consistently but now the power is off dam..
They were going to restart with line calls but the overhead camera can't be moved without power. I think this is causing to delay before manual line calls etc. Power off in areas of Madrid.
I'm surprised that they don't have some battery back up UPS systems or generator back up for major tournament. Its not as if the power needed is a large draw.
It's a shame it struck when it did, Fearnley just seemed to turn the corner, more aggressive on the Dimitrov first serve and Dimitrov level just dipped a little.
The ex TCU team mate is called Juan Martin. He's on his coaching team now looking after competitive aspects by the sounds of it. Argentine. I didn't realise TCU is based in Fort Worth, the only area I've actually been to in the USA, LOL.. Our kid was working out there on contract for BAe for three years. Too be honest Texas was fairly featureless other than the nice warm weather through winter months, wouldn't revisit without good reason.
