The most amazing match point - the best rally by far of the whole of the set - pace, and placement, and effects on the ball, from both

But it's Ella who comes out on top

Just saw bits and pieces, with as you were saying CD good variation from Ella. Pretty solid too and indeed that was some MP!

FWIW Mika's title points from here last year ( a week earlier ) drop off on 05/05, leaving her on just 15 points and outside the top 1000. So in the short term it would have been good to get a few wins this week and next week to start pushing her ranking back up, and just to be getting wins in themselves.

Mimi having a bit of a tough day at the office - doesn't look especially happy out there. Her serve seems a bit down on pace and the American girl is really taking advantage with some aggressive returning.
