I like Dylan's tennis but I wasn't too sure about Jon's classification of this match as very 'interesting' - if George had lost it would have been pretty awful - I only tuned in for the second set and was glad to see Dylan hitting good ball, though

Oh, never expected Loffs to lose, more that I was interested in seeing how Dyland stacked up against an experienced player like Loffhagen now is. And it wasnt too bad!

Yes, but I guess the same could be said for Luke, or Toby, or Finn or any of the other outsiders playing a more experienced player

Maybe, Dylans was just a name id spotted in the juniors last week or three and so stood out for me as interesting

Must admit I did slightly raise my eyebrows when I saw the original.post. Whatever, does look a pretty decent second set at least from Dylan.

I mean, id depends what we mean by "interesting", right? I wasn't saying Dyland would or could win, that would have been fantasy-land, just an interesting match up for a junior to see how he did against a highliy ranked player. As Toby and Finn are more well known to me and have a few years on Dylan, they just didn't raise my interest in the same way when picking out 3 or 4 matches to note.

That was all it was, no big deal!

Bit concerning that there's no Searle.

 Exams?

He turned 19 in March so would have thought he'd finished A-levels, unless he's gone on to do something else?

Hes entered for Nottingham 2 next week and then Tbilisi the week after.
