Maybe he'll now have a bit more cash to be able to do so. The year he's had so far, must have swelled the coffers a bit.
I believe he should now be guaranteed a career high ranking, whatever happens tomorrow, moving up to WR326ish, just past his previous best of WR333. If he wins the title, he's up to about WR315

What have the barriers been to him playing a full schedule? Are they financial, or injury/mental health/something else?
I think No.1 Loffhagen fan Coup Droit is best placed to answer that one.
What's the verdict CD - what's been holding George back and how far do you feel he can go? Can he become a regular challenger player?
Well, I had Loffers on a par with Jack Draper back when they were 17 - which didn't quite work out
I'm honestly not too sure why George's path has stuttered - he's had a lot of help from the LTA, I believe, and no ultra serious, career-threatening injuries that I know of - there was one that dragged on, I remember, but no more, really, than what most players have to deal with
It might sound a little rude but I get the feeling that immaturity had a lot to do with it. He seems like a lad who took a little while to grow up. Hence, the time out, doing a bit of studies, doing a bit of bar work, not quite knowing what he wanted or where he was going.
I also got the feeling from a few things that he basically didn't like to buckle down. He tried a French academy - didn't like it. Liked tennis when it was easy and then wouldn't really do the graft. So tried uni, and dropped out of that pretty quickly too.
He used to look very 'closed' on a tennis court too - like he was lacking in confidence, didn't really like foreign travel, not very comfortable being watched.
And, like Jack, he was tall and gangly, a bit all over the place.
I get the feeling that most of that is now behind him. He's 24, has filled out a lot, grown up, has got a lot of the wobbles out of his system.
But I'm not sure - he's still never been out of Europe to play, from what I can see - and only been in the very 'safe', mainstream Europe. It's an issue.
In terms of tennis, I think he could definitely be a solid Challenger player. He's got a great serve, fitness, power on his groundies, strong legs, athleticism, agile. He doesn't like stepping in and taking the ball early - prefers to power it from behind the line. Not great at the net (partly because he's normally too far away ) but that seems to be something he's working on. And seems better at constructing points now too, that bit of lucidity needed.
If he played a normal season, and travelled, he could certainly be 150 or so, IMHO. More than that, I'm not sure, it seems unlikely at the moment, but that's because we're not quite there yet and every time you think it's all clicking he seems to go AWOL again.
