Week 19 - ITF W35 - Nottingham - Hard

Get in there, Dani !!!!

I thought she might have blown that second set when she got broken back - but no !!!

Now, c'mon Hollie !!!!

Super !   biggrin

By the way, Dani was already WTA ranked before the Nottingham W35s. 1259 was her 21/04 WTA ranking, not an ITF ranking. She is WR 1255 at 05/05 with 7 points from 3 counters.

And now, with 12 points so far from these last 2 weeks, into the top 1000 - live ranked 979 with 19 points.

Yes, I know, but I'd been whispering in the addict's ear too much about rankings smile

But great that it doesn't matter anyway because she'll be top-1000 biggrin

Oh well, another one wrong - but at least the number was right !
I usually take the rankings from the ITF website until the new WTA rankings come out, then go through them again. Takes a while when we get so many in these draws !

Pity just about Esther. That's 2 weeks in a row that she's qualified and then lost in 3 sets in R1 to fellow qualifier, Jordyn McBride.

You do a mega job !!! The lists for domestic events are just enormous - especially when you're putting ITF and junior rankings, and CHs, and whatever - honestly, it's a great service, really appreciated smile

I second this, I only ever view on here never write  a post (maybe I should) but those guides really do help especially early on in tournaments.

I am going to third this! When juniors are moving through to seniors it seems to be a minefield and the detailed breakdown of different rankings really helps.

I think that's a really nice post smile

As in, for someone who doesn't ever normally post (and, yes, you should biggrin) to come and put up a post specifically to thank someone for their hard work - nice one smile

ADD: And I agree with Var, SO much different info, it's just a minefield, but all of it useful

Agree with all these comments - posting draws and results and rankings is a nightmare and much appreciated as it must take an age to type out and get right!!

Bravo, Millie - that's a real clutch victory

TBH, and to my shame, I thought Joy would win that one - she's been a very decent junior

So, apologies, Amelia
