Mika, not surprisingly, far prefers playing someone like Hruncakova - someone like Eliz makes Mika do all the work, she can't get into a rhythm, the height of the balls is all wrong for her

Hruncakova hits a far better consistent height for her, with power that Mika uses well

Been a great 2 weeks in Nottingham so far, with among other things, us going from 28 players in the top 1000 to almost certainly 32 in the top 1000, including 3 into the top 1000 for the first time.

Katy D and Mika will return to the top 1000 and Sarah Tatu will drop out.

New top 1000 players :
Angelica Blake: live ranked 871 ( up 213 ) on 27 points.
Brooke Black: live ranked 949 ( up 147 ) on 21 points, and still going at the QF stage.
Daniela Piani: live ranked 988 ( up 267 ) on 19 points.

Now if Hollie was to reach the final ...
