Good effort from Jack - and a qf here to add to his Madrid final is v good.

He's been on such a good run recently. No disgrace in defeat today.

He'll have a break next week. Both beating Alcaraz and securing a top 4 seeding for RG wouid have been super.

But he has done very well.

I watched a fair bit of the match and as you can imagine it was played at very high level. Carlitos shaved it because he had more experience and played 1-2% better than Jack. But Jack will be back smile

Thanks! I was only able to check score every so often.

And Alcaraz beats Sinner 7-6 (5), 6-1 in the final. Carlos has now beaten Janik 4 times in succession which bodes well for Roland Garros, although that was obviously a case of shedding rust for Sinner after the 3 month lay off. You can train your heart out and stay as fit as can be but there's no way to replicate the adrenaline of a for real match with CA

I see what you are doing here: that is obviously the best way of giving Mr Draper a fighting chance!
