Frustrating that moving the 2nd tier grass events to WTA125 level means we no longer get to see either the full entry list of qualifiers and alternates nor a near live view of the latest list that we get with ITFs. It'd be interesting to see who else has entered, particularly any juniors not in Paris and any college players - realise they would need wild cards but it gives an idea of who's interested in pursuing this path. The LTA probably won't update their list until a couple of days before it starts if past experience is anything to go by.
I hope the move up a level doesn't hurt our players chances of ranking gains too much. Will we see stories like Isa's run in Surbiton a couple of years ago from a QWC to the QF? Will graduating college players need to wait until the summer ITFs to get the wins they need to kickstart their pro careers?
