Whilst we all get despondent at the end of clay and the start of grass (!), I thought I would throw this out there.

Combined British wins totals in the main 5 events for the AO and FO combined since 2019

2019 - 24
2020 - 30
2021 - 32
2022 - 33
2023 - 35
2024 - 34

2025 - 63!!! And maybe more as the event finishes off this week

It had been steady with a little improvement over the past few years and then - boom!

I think that is such a stark statistic.

It's been such a tremendous French Open in terms of wins it would be a pity not to get one finalist. So yes, go, Joe & Neal.

One thing to note - walkovers dont count as a win, wins through retirement do (this is as per how the ATP/WTA count win loss records, so keeping it consistent!)

Not that it will impact this much, only Joe and Neal left. But I should have mentioned it, although I think everyone knows it anyway?

So, we end on 36. I would say that is something we would have not believed we would achieve before the event started. Indeed, no one predicted anywhere near it!

I usually do a complicated calculation but this year I take a different approach. Based on the fact that the sun is shining and that all is for the best in the best of all possible worlds I have gone for 20. Let us hope they read this thread and all up their game. I am relying on you folks.

 Obviously they did read the thread and did up their game to a ridiculous extent. I need to be careful what I vote for in future.
