QF: (9) Christian Harrison & Evan King (USA/USA) CR 39 (21+18) defeated (2) Harri Heliövaara (FIN) & Henry Patten CR 7 (3+4) by 3 & 4
QF: (16) Hugo Nys & Edouard Roger-Vasselin (MON/FRA) CR 71 (39+32) defeated Sander Arends (NED) & Luke Johnson CR 79 (37+42) by 6-4 3-6 6-2
They were always going to be up against it in an encounter with such an experienced pair. Still a good tournament for the boys &, by the looks of it, they were just outside the seedings. Come Wimbledon...
SF: (8) Joe Salisbury & Neal Skupski CR 35 (20+15) defeated (9) Christian Harrison & Evan King (USA/USA) CR 39 (21+18) by 6-7(5) 6-3 7-6(10-7)
For the whole of the first half of the MTB it looked as though Joe & Neal were going to lose it! The Yanks had also served for it at 5-3 in the decider!
We have 4 finalists now from the French to add to 5 in the AO (from 15 key events in each - 5 main draw events, 4 junior draw events, 6 wheelchair)
Joe/Neal, Hannah, Alfie and Alfie/Gordon here, joining Henry, Hannah (girls doubles), Alfie, Alfie/Gordon and Andy Lapthorne in Melbourne.
I need to add up but that is 12 players from that list but that is 12 out of 46 actual total places available in finals - I would be surprised if any other country surpasses 12 out of the total 46 places.

It's 46 finalists from the 15 events in each Slam. So 12 out of a total of 92 places over the 2 Slams, no?

Ah , yeah. I forgot to multiply by 2! Either way, be interesting to see if anyone has matched 12.
