Week 21 - ATP Challenger 75 - Macedonian Open - Skopje, North Macedonia (hard)

Ever since the Wimbledon thing with the mixed doubles - and wasn't Harriet the "injured" party there, Jay has gone under the radar and just did his thing, quietly. Had some ups and some downs - but now seems to becoming into an up again.

Harriet on the other hand....

Allez Jay!

Great win! Where does that come in terms of rankings of players Jay has beaten?

Final:  (3) Jay Clarke WR 250 vs (Q) Nerman Fatic (BIH) WR 339 (CH = 191 in August 2023)

Fatic did for the Croatian eighth seed, Poljicak (WR 274), in three sets in his semi.

Looking at abstract, it's his 4th highest. With wins over #58 (Harrison), #67 (Jordan Thompson), #80 (Prajnesh Gunneswaran). But his last top 100 win came all the way back in 2019!

Yes, Jay's match is available to watch on the ATP website. He's just taken the first set 6-2

Fabulous. After a really tough few years, Jay is BACK. And also, back in the top 200. Wonderful. Wimbledon WC incoming.
