The only players who can win this competition are those in Wimbledon - as the only other event is Newport and includes Harriet and Heather only.

Sadly, no wins today, but it does make it a lot clearer in terms of who can top the table. Heather still leads, despite losing today. Basically, it is then down to Emma, Katie or Sonay to catch her. Harriet still could if she plays and wins Newport RI (to be fair, reaches the final).

Looking at tennis abstract predictions, they think Katie will get two more wins and Sonay 1 - taking Katie to top spot here. Although Heather and Harriet may be in Newport, neither would be expected to win a match based on ranking.

Which leaves Katie as a narrow favourite to take this title, perhaps

Sonay gets the days win and is the only player left now. She joins Emma and Heather on 5 wins - Emma is done, Sonay is still here and Heather might or might not be playing in Newport.

One of these 3 will win it, although Emma cant do it outright (although Harriet could get to 6 wins if she plays Newport as entered and wins the title)

With Harriet reported to have dropped out of Newport, our list in the womens is simpler than the mens.

Emma, Heather and Sonay are all on 5

Emma can't add to that

Sonay is in Wimbledon and could improve that from 1 to 4 extra wins

Heather is apparently still in Newport RI main draw and could improve from 1 to 5 wins over the week.

Possibly makes Heather slight favourite to take it, but it is up in the air really - and if she doesn't play, then it is all in Sonay's hands

Just Heather left now, one win in Newport and shes the champ. Out round one, and its a three way tie.

So with Heather, Emma and Sonay ending on 5 wins and Lily on 2, she needs the semis to make it to 5 as well.

Lily has McHale and then Tatiana Maria, so reaching the semis is a long shot!
