The wildcard play-offs are this week - that'll add quite a few wins - 14 if I have counted right.
It does every year, of course. Actually, they sometimes in the past have drawn a line when theyve decided to give an extra player a QWC, Im sure the semis of mens or womens went not played one year.
And no change today as the only player in action goes out:

Thanks LTA, with your one ruddy tournament this week for those and such as those with one player today
I know, right? It's all been said but it is most frustrating. The only players left in this week now are the very top players, and then those in the play offs
A lot more women's players in action today - Harriet v Fran, and then Sonay, Mimi and Katie B also playing. Hopefully a bit of movement in the table above

Be a lot of overlap with :
Centre Court: Sonay from 11.30 followed by Katie
Court 1: Fran vs Harriet from 11.00 followed by Mimi
I don't know for these attending, if you can watch on both Centre and Court 1. But if you can, and would like to watch the Brits, you can't be in 2 places at once.
And these following from afar will have a fair bit of flicking about.
Heather and Harriet are taking this seriously - both are showing on the preliminary player list for the Newport RI WTA125 event in the second week of Wimbledon
A much more interesting day today for the women, with 4 wins in the WTA event in Nottingham. The biggest news is that Mimi is now equal top with Heather on 4 wins and still in play with Fran, Sonay and Katie this week

With just Fran playing today, no change.
Tomorrow, though, we have 8 matches with guaranteed winners in the play offs and then 3 players in Nottingham action, so there will be wins to add. Many of them will be at the lower end of the table though
With none of the play off contenders having won a grass match yet this season, and just Wimbledon qualies and Wimbledon to come for them after this, it is unlikely any of them will challenge for the most wins accolade this season. Nonetheless, at least 8 of them will register wins this week and get onto our table and the wins will be recorded to see where they land at the end of the grass season.
In Nottingham, Katie/Sonay and Mimi all go for wins today to bolster their chances
If action in the wild card playoffs stops before all 3 rounds are complete eg because they decide to push players through to qualies, that is just the way the cookie crumbles in terms of counting the number of wins. For a win to be counted, a ball has to actually be struck in anger!
Thursday is over and we progress to 38 wins - last season 49 wins, season before 65 wins, so falling off from heights of past couple of years (all include play off wins for day one).
Nonetheless, here is the table as Katie is the only player with a previous win to add to her tally. Katie is actually well placed now to take the lead this week. At this stage last year, the leader had 6 wins

No one predicted (on time) Mimi or Heather to take this. Still in the lead, although Katie B may catch them now, this week, and a whole host of people were backing Katie
