26 players in Nottingham main draw and qualies - Ill need to work through it to see who can reach 7 wins or more, but Evo going to be under fire from various quarters. And Cam can still equal 7 wins also.

Any player in Nottingham Q for starters.

 Indeed

Based on the entries to main draw and qualies at Nottingham, the following list of players can still equal or beat 7 wins.

In current win order:

Evo - 7

JPJ - 6 (just needs one win in Nottingham to equal Evo)

Arthur F, JoMo, Hamish S and Oli C - 4 (all need semis or more in Nottingham)

Ali G and Cam - 3 (Can needs to win Wimbledon, Ali G RU or more in Nottingham)

Loffers, Henry, Kyle, Ryan P and James Story - 2 (all need to take the title in Nottingham)

Lui Maxted, Mark Whitehouse, Patrick Brady, Will Jansen, Finn Bass, James Mackinlay, Luca Pow, Phoenix Weir - 0 (all need to win Nottingham from qualies to reach 7)

Oscar Weightman - 0 (needs to win Newport RI from qualies to reach 7)

I think that is 22 players still in it!

Tom Hands and Alexis Canter get an alt place in qualies and so we now have 23 players with a live chance of winning this by reaching 7 wins or more.

Hamish and Oli C - reach the semis and they draw equal top

11 players still competing for this title of Most wins, although some of them are relatively unlikely. 8 Brits play today in Newport and Nottingham, and 6 of them are in the contenders list above

Worth noting, the 20 wins at Nottingham so far in MD and qualies will definitely grow by at least 3 today, so it will surpass Ilkley and be the single event with the most wins for the men this grass season.

Not surprising given the number of players here, but worth commenting on

Proper update later but JPJ winning today takes him to 8 and ahead of Evo in the outright lead.

It also reduces the number of potential winners to just 4 now, as hardly any players can catch JPJ.

Hamish Stewart also won and moves onto 6 - a final or title is what he needs
Oli C - needs a final or title also
Ali G - needs the title

Proper update later. Oli and Ali go tomorrow in the last 16, Hamish and JPJ will be back in action on Thursday

The upshot is also that no one wins out prediction contest for the men. The 4 left as possible winners had no prediction made for any of them. We heed the lesson of Jaggy and Dan Cox from 2 years or back, when Dan Cox took it based on the lesser events and the wins he got there - this could well be the same; a challenger level triumph over the top stars.

Here is the mens list, 103 wins now - JPJ, Hamish and Oli Crawford left in the chase now. Oli can get 4 more wins, so 9 max. Hamish can get 3 more, so also 9. So JPJ needs one win to guarantee equal top or 2 wins (final) to get top outright
