Pretty sure this poll should have closed now to new votes - thanks to those who are taking part. Now lets see how the grass tournaments unwind!

One thing to remember - this is wins in grass events, singles, we are counting - therefore, if rain intervenes and moves a match indoors, then it WILL COUNT as a win in a grass event! It happened a lot last year and life is too short to work out which specific matches went indoors or did they start out and move in. They all count!

No change after today - not a top start for the men.

Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere but it looks like a few players aren't switching to grass to extend their practice time or are, of course, not prioritizing grass. Jubb, Broady and Choinski just three who would otherwise get wildcards choosing to play on other surfaces this week.

So, in what could be described as a rather slow first grass week for the men, we have reached the end of our involvement.

Week 1 out of 6 weeks finished:

PlayerTotal wins

Giles Hussey1
Jack Pinnington-Jones1

Just 2 wins in total

It is only week 1 of 6 and many players not started their grass journey yet, but no one from our board predicted Giles or Jack PJ to be top of the wins table - although I doubt they will stay there. Still, 1 win is more than most so far!

With week 1 done and dusted for the men, the action largely moves on to Ilkley, where we should have a decent number of players in qualies (Jay, JoMo, Paul J, Oli C and Ryan at this point, pre wild cards) and Billy in the main draw (again, pre juggling around for wild cards).

In Stuttgart and 's-Hertogenbosch, Jake will be going in one of them - he is currently in the Stuttgart field but still also showing on darts as an alternative for the Dutch event - presumably that is his preference if he moves up a couple of places there?

Jack and Cam opting not to join the early fray. Others may get wild cards into the Ilkley event.

For now, we can rest easy on the men's front until Ilkley qualies kicks off at the weekend (Sunday?).

One thing to note - walkovers dont count as a win, wins through retirement do (this is as per how the ATP/WTA count win loss records, so keeping it consistent!)
