So do we think Lois Boisson will be getting a WC to Wimbledon?

She should be the first on the list!

Not sure why you say Fran is focussing on the clay. She is playing Queens next week same as Emma and Sonay

Is there a qualifying list anywhere ? Haven't been able to find one so far.

Edit - there's an early list on tennisforum - shows Sonay and Fran (Emma with MDWC). Last qualifying entry shown is Linda Fruhvirtova WR152

That can't be the complete list surely. It's an 128 draw.

We were talking about the draws for Queens.

The Wimbledon initial lists can be found on the official site. Main draw and Qualifying.

These are dated 26 May. The last main draw entry is WR99 and the last qualifying entry is WR220

I was sceptical before but of the British WC hopefuls only Mimi has performed this week so seems quite likely at this point.

I would suggest the following:

MDWC
Dart
Watson
Jones
Burrage
Kvitova
Banks
Xu
Stojsavljevic

Lilly gets in direct into QWC

QWC
McDonald
Rajecki
Appleton
Klugman
Swan
Dunne/Stoiber
2 x playoff winners

I think Swan is staying in the USA (but could be wrong)

And am not sure Mika will get a MD one, given she hasn't won a grass court match yet

No chance for Katy Dunne, IMO

I cant see any juniors getting a MDWC.  Mimi is doing well and results may warrant it in the run up.  Argument for Mika having won the US Open Juniors but Hannah is now Junior WR3 and got to the FQR of the main Wimbledon qualies last year, so it is both or neither??

Historically, there have been a fair few MDWC given to people outside of GB players and I would expect more than 4 or 5 for our players (in men too).

Both Dunne and Swan were in the play offs last year. Neither have played much since so no real reason for either to be promoted to qualis this year.

For me the criteria should be:

Main Draw
- Inside top 200
- Inside top 300 and under the age of 23, as long as rank has improved in the last year

Qualifying
-Inside top 300
-Inside top 500 and under the age of 23
-Rank improved in the last year.

Any slots remaining, get on the blower to the organisers of the US Open and set a reciprocal deal in place.

Yes, more chance of Dani Piani getting one than Katy Dunne, I reckon

Would they consider Mika for MDWC based on her holding the US junior slam? Not sure.
