1. Cameron Norrie- So good to see Cam back in the big time. Its great to see him în R16 for the first time în his career and his win over Medvedev was nothing less than epic, followed by a comprehensive dismantling of Jake in the third round. Worthy of nomination whatever happens now !
2. Hannah Klugman - reached the French Open girls singles final (final to come) for her first grand slam singles final. Showing Brits can play on clay, it will also take her back into the top 3 or 4 girls in the JWR and top Brit on that list as well. The first British junior finalist in nearly 50 years, since Michelle Tyler in 1976.
3. Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski - Reaching the French Open doubles final, the first time either of them has got beyond the last 8 and, for both of them, their first Grand Slam final since 2023. Their first Grand Slam final as a pair. The first British pair in a French final since 1936.
4. Alfie Hewett - reaching the final of the French Open men's wheelchair singles - Alfie has won the French 3 times in the past but not since 2021. He won the AO earlier this year and is clearly showing himself as part of a Big two in mens wheelchair tennis.
5. Alfie Hewett/ Gordon Reid - winning their 6th straight French doubles title, Gordons 8th title overall as they show themselves to probably be the best doubles pair of all time?!
6. Sonay Kartal - for a new CH in the top 50, thanks to winning a round at the French Open.
7. Jake Fearnley - for a new CH inside the top 50, thanks to winning two rounds at the French Open. He followed that up later in tte month by reaching his first ATP Tour QF (and in a 500, no less) at Queens. That has allowed him to stay close to the top 50, despite dropping the 130 points he gained last year from winning the Nottingham challenger (from qualifying).
8. Tara Moore - for winning the ladies' doubles at the W75 in Sumter, USA (albeit with help from Abigail Rencheli): her first title since her suspension was lifted.
9. Jack Pinnington-Jones - for making the final of the ATP CH 125 at Ilkley, as a wildcard, beating Kukushkin, Billy Harris and Landaluce along the way. His first challenger final and will see him rise to around 282 and a new CH. Recently graduated from TCU - will he follow Cam and Jake into the top 50 in due course?

This is their first title together after a few near misses, and comes just over a year after they first joined up. Their combined ranking has climbed from 129 last year to 50, with new career highs of 23 and 27. In winning the title they beat three seeded pairs including the reigning Olympic and Roland Garros champions, Errani and Paolini, in the final.

13. Dan Evans - for a great return to winning ways, returning 7 wins in the PoM period, including wins over Tiafoe and Paul, both ranked 13 at the time. Reached the quarterfinals of Eastbourne and gets his ranking back into the top 200 in the 150s. Also beat Billy Harris at the FO qualies. All in all, an emotional job well done.
3 days left for nominations. As a reminder, Wimbledon qualies can count in this months PoM process as it stands alone from the main draw, in case anyone took the eye of those in qualifying , such as Oli T or Emily A or Hamish S or anyone else
Hannah has just got a top-100 win at Boodles so I added that
And Oli T - after all, you can't not, can you ?

I feel 11 is slightly....hm. Several Brits have won Queen's doubles titles, like Andy, Neal and Jamie, the narrative could be changed to "first British pair".

I see there are a few players left around the world but they will all be done by Sunday mid afternoon.
So Im going to aim to close this to nominations at early evening Sunday and the poll will go up Sunday evening as opposed to Monday morning , still run through Tuesday evening. But it allows people focussed on Wimbledon - most of us- to get their vote in Sunday evening.
Lets call it 6 pm to close nominations and poll up shortly afterwards.
