And a break up - presumably Jack will also be in contention for an SE OR a wild card to Nottingham? He presumably wouldnt be able to play Queens qualies if he gets through as they will clash with Ilkley weekend matches...

If there are more than two SE's, as it looks to my untutored eye to potentially be, how do they decide how they are awarded?

So Jack may miss out on the SE, but sure as heck will probably get a wild card. And hopefully do for Mochizuki the semis

Well done, Jack!

Good read on Mochizuki - didn't know he was a former junior no.1 and a rival of Alcaraz

Apparently he's always been tipped to be good on grass

Yeah, I saw him earlier this week for a few games and he looked like he knew his way around. Japanese have had some decent grass court players in the past, Shuzo Matsuoka comes to mind.

Final:  (1) Diego Hidalgo & Patrik Trhac (ECU/USA) CR 178 (81+97) defeated (WC) Charles Broom & Ben Jones CR 400 (171+229) by 6-3 6-7(8) [10-7]

Shame, but still a good week for Charlie & Ben.
