Surely she has no intentions about Wimbledon other than watching, doesn't she?. She's trying to play tennis without suffering a relapse rather than playing tournaments she's ill-prepared for. I hope sense prevails

Oh, I'm pretty sure that is the case, just that she has been mentioned at times, and indeed as TA says is in some folks' selections in the predictions thread, so that is just being responded to.

I don't see the issue re fitness. 3 matches in the playoffs that really shouldn't stretch her and a potential 3 in qualifying the following week. If she doesn't get through the play offs she can fly to Spain.

Hannah will be a slamdunk for Eastbourne now, I think

And almost certainly Mika, and Mimi too?

(Don't know how many wildcards players have had, and their calculations going forwards)

Expect/hope to see all three of them

Lets hope Katie does not ask for a wildcard for Eastbourne then, as Dart, Jones, Jodie, Heather will probably all want one too.

Jake is now into Eastbourne directly.

Presumably the likely candidates for main draw wild cards are Cam, and Billy, and then Dan?

Of the other players directly into wimbledon and therefore not in Roehampton qualies action, Jay Clarke should uplift directly into qualies as a DA, so presumably the 2 qualies wildcards will come from Oliver Crawford, George Loffhagen, Johannus Monday, Jack Pinnington Jones, Henry Searle? Not sure how they would perm 2 from those 5 and what criteria they use - Jack has the best grass season to date, Oli has done well, JoMO and then Henry just behind them. George has played the least and won nothing so maybe he needs the action the most? If they go with form, JPJ and Oli C. probably deserve it.

Presumably there's a qWC up for grabs in Mallorca like last year?

Was that one that Jubby got? Was it because we are helping fund Mallorca event, that rings a bell?

Slight segue but are we helping fund any of the other events eg Bad Homburg? I think we helped with Antalya previously and the Gaiba 125 but both of those have disappeared now?

The AELTC owns the licences and partially funds 3 of the European grass court events including Bad Homburg.

I thought so - Mallorca, Bad Homburg - which is the other one? Berlin/Stuttgart?

Coco lost her first round match in Berlin. She has been at Eastbourne before? I wonder.

Although staying in Germany at another WTA500 (Bad Homburg) would seem more likely, don't you think?

Maybe depends where her team thinks she would get more matches in? You never know.
