Katie could still get a seeding for Wimbledon with the title this week. Shes got form here, Tennis Abstract make her favourite as well.

Katie cannot be seeded now but either Sramkova or Kessler could be seeded along with Xinyu Wang in Berlin. This assumes that the live 32 stays as it is at the moment and nobody in the top 32 pulls out before the Wimbledon draw is made.

Shame but always a big ask to win three years running.

The trouble really was she's not been in as good form this year

A reasonable week for Katie, and her first Top 50 wins of the season. But no doubt she has plateaued over the last 12 months, and am sure the foot injury hasn't helped.

Interesting. In contrast Emma's form may have been a bit variable at times but she has had 10 top 50 wins this year already. Won 10, lost 10.

I'd say she well justifies currently being ranked GB #1.

Kessler went on to take the title, and also claims the WR32 spot, so will be seeded for Wimbledon.

Ah, if Katie had prevailed in her QF vs Kessler and gone on to take the title it is her that would be WR 32.

I wondered if anyone had spotted any results from the Nottingham Open wheelchair exhibition matches featuring Lucy, Cornelia, Andy and Greg?
