Week 25 - ATP Challenger 125 - Lexus Open - Nottingham, Great Britain (grass)

So Peniston plays on Sunday for some reason then does not play again until Wednesday but Arthur played yesterday and today?

And Arthur played qualies as well, so 5th match in total - weird scheduling

Setting new standards in scheduling with MD R1 matches completed on a Sunday ( while getting qualifying finished by the skin of their teeth ) and a R2 match due to be completed on Tuesday, while giving a player a 3 day break between rounds.

Not sure quite what sort of standards ...

Glad to see others are dancing to the drum I have been banging for some time about the organisation at Nottingham.

If Robson had any influence on the 2024 farce, or these latest series of mis-steps, then this enthusiastic cheerleading she receives from all corners of the establishment needs silencing.

for pity's sake, last time you blamed Laura for Sunday in Nottingham - when you only only had to turn on the TV to see Laura at Queens - the whole afternoon ! She has NOTHING to do with Nottingham this year

Laura seems to be doing pretty well organising Queens! Maybe we could use her imparting her knowledge here as it's been a bit odd! I agree with all the comments on scheduling being off here.

I've no idea - you lost me when you kept accusing Laura of the problems of this year instead of finding out who the actual tournament director is this year when people told you it wasn't Laura

In Nottingham I believe that it is traditional to blame the sheriff.

There's been 10 mins of arguing on the court

I can't tell if both lads don't want to play, or just one, but the tournament referee guy seems to want them to carry on, and one or both are not happy

And now they're playing sort of pat ball

Honestly this match should've been tomorrow! Don't think Arthur is winning this unless it's postponed now :(

Is it slippy? Its 3-4 and theres 30 mins of light left. If not slippy, they should surely carry on?
