A fine return at the incoming volleyer's feet followed by a backhand winner and a UE from Duckworth set up 3 matchpoints for Henry at 5-4* but he couldn't convert so we go on at 5-5

Watching on bet365 I was convinced his 3rd match point landed on the base line but was called out. Anyone else see that?

I don't recall the detail of the point, other than I didn't feel Henry was hard done by - and didn't notice him questioning the call.

It is one way to gain an advantage biggrin

Great win from George! Played really well and great toe breaker! :)

I sincerely hope that it didn't get that violent!

George nailed it in the end, that's the main thing.

Saw Billy and George matches. My god George hits the ball hard. His game is great to watch and made for grass. Billy impressed too. Saw JoMo serve out his game too. He is huge! Can see George qualifying if he plays like that tomorrow.
Draw ceremony was fun although having Fritz sitting their looking fed up didnt add much!

And Jomo, indeed

Henry got a touch over excited on his MPs, one in particular

But so close

Has George had a bunch of injuries this year? Watched him at wimbledon in 2023 and thought he had unbelievably good potential.

The feed is very grainy, and no real surprise given where this is taking place, but looks super windy there and they're dealing with some incredibly dodgy balls.

I am never sure either why George L doesn't play more. He does seem to have a decent game and on the few occasions we see him play he does rather well. Surely this guy could be ranked much higher and near the main tour if he played a better schedule. I remember him being mentioned a few years back as a good prospect.
