Wait thats only Billys second top 100 win? Is that correct?!

Second best win ranking wise - hes won 6 matches v top 100 players according to tennis abstract. His best was Cobolli da led 49 at the time in Eastbourne last year. Then Cam today; if he beats Bellucci next round, that is his third best - all in Eastbourne

Weve talked about it before that it seems a particularly British player trait, a lack of something other countries seem to have - but I saw stats somewhere that it is not the case and it is just we are viewing life from our perspective.

Either way- very frustrating.

And I see JPJ is one set all now.

Some do view GB players  like this. Some others consistently have not when such a subject has been raised.

All in all, not a bad day for the Brits on the south coast.

Fantastic win for Jake. You would never have known that Cobolli was the seeded player from watching that. If Jake continues to improve at this rate you can imagine an exciting rivalry between him and Jack in years to come, if all continues to go well.

Awesome stuff! Out of nowhere, Billy's one win away from defending all those semifinal points from last year. Got to be feeling much more confident about his game ahead of Wimbledon too now.

I assume hed actually end up with more points from Eastbourne this year than last if he made the semifinal. As hed get his points for winning in QR1 as well.

Looks like he will still drop in the rankings though, he will be 9 places down so far

Thst's just for the QF though. As Madadman says, if he makes the SF again, he will replace 100 points with 107. As things stand that would have him up 1 place to live ranked 141.
