Didn't see the match point, but both service games at *5-4 and *5-6 were very tight, just couldn't get out the game after saving multiple break/set points.

4-2* in the third.

Never in doubt hahahaha.

Jeezo.

10 aces, served well overall. JBM painted the lines on two match points, teed off a weak second serve on the third. The fourth Heather got the short ball off the return but JBM guessed the right way and Hev panicked and pushed the ball wide. Fifth JBM hit a return winner off a not very good first serve. Finally she goes wide and our girl is through.

Super!

Heather unleashes her merciless killer instinct to claim her 6th? match point.

Good win. Opponent ranked 60 - 68 women in Wimbledon R1 will be ranked lower.

With the two German 500k tournaments this year, this tournament and Notts are giving our lasses some very good practice opportunities.

At least 5 match points and at least 3 break points in the final game.

Krejcikova has only won 1 match this calendar year and is returning from injury so I wouldnt say it was a bad draw. Not sure Darts in good enough form to take advantage.

I mean it's Zarazua, and it's the Mexicans first match on grass. I'd be expecting a competitive showing, and this would be a very kind draw in a couple of weeks time.

You can tell Mika is still not totally dialed in with her own game after having to play a bit sporadically and not winning a lot of matches when she has competed. It's all there though.

This has been a very poor match.
The Mexican is really here for the taking and looks below average, but unfortunately Mikas level is even lower than that.

She has served well at times but looks very out of sorts today but still time to turn this around.

she definitely has not looked the better player

0 from 9 on break points including two failures to convert 40-0*

3-2* second set.

Her unforced errors must be astronomical. If she can start to keep the ball in play just like her opponent is doing she can turn this around..

No turn around rather frustrating but something to learn from as she has the game available.
