I have bad news guys. The guy coaching Mika today on court was. Jeremy Bates

Do you think it is permanent or just temporary? Surely there are other coaches available? And does Mika get a say in decisions?

Did you see her yesterday, or in Queens? There's lots of reasons Hev will never be back up in the top 50 again, but not it's definitely not lack of effort that's the issue.

At Queens I was struck by how fit Heather looked actually .. looks like she's really been putting in the work in the spring

Heather is far far from looking fit and even if she had been putting the work in if youre not prepared to fight, chase, battle and work on court then whats the point.

I understand she is well known and sells tickets but People who buy tickets are only going to be disappointed with performances we have seen recently.

Heather may be inconsistent, but has beaten four top 100 players in the grass court season: Gadecki, Somnez, Putintseva and Bouzas. I would suggest a more deserving wild card than any other player.

As said, shes won the most grass matches of anyone this year, and per above, most of good quality from a ranking perspective

I read with interest the almost universally negative impressions folk have of Jeremy Bates, particularly those who have watched and listened to him at close quarters

Not having really followed the ins and outs of his coaching associations ( other than Katie B seemed to markedly progress once she moved on ) what would be the coaching successes he could point to? And which associations haven't appeared to work?

On grass, Minnen is probably the trickiest of the qualifiers for Fran. Be interesting to see how she gets on.

Presume the BBC are not covering all the matches live? I can only find one match on the BBC right now. If so pretty poor considering for most tournamnets we can get all court coverage via Now Tv or Sky. Or am i wrong??

Tennis Channel are lead broadcaster and have the rights to all courts of the LTA grass court tournaments. The BBC just have the free to air rights that cover 1 court.

I don't even see that. Nothing on BBC1 or 2 today or tomorrow.
