Im going tomorrow... train from Walton on Thames to Clapham Junction then Barnes, aim to get there for 10am. Google maps says 25 min walk

25 mins walk sounds about right from Barnes station.

However, if you're not too fond of walking, the 33 bus goes from outside the station to Priory Lane bus stop

It's only two stops but it cuts the walk in half - you've got 10 mins or so left

It was very quick going through security today so you don't need to be there early unless you want to be

And remember photo ID, they were hot in it

A bit optimistic CD - the bus only saves a little distance (like 0.5km out of 1.5km), and the path through the woods is one of the better parts of the walk wink

Well, even a third less might help smile

If you're a bit  stiff in the joints and want to cut the walking down as much as you can smile

But note with the 33 bus that you have to walk over Hammersmith bridge to pick it up, so the walking you save one end you add on at the other.

I meant, if you were arriving at Barnes station

Yes, it's not much help now from Hammersmith

With 8 highly significant matches here, a further 5 in singles in Eastbourne, and Liv+ in Germany, I can't remember a single day with so much at stake for so many of our leading players.

14 matches - good luck to all.

With so many of them playing on wildcards, most playing against opponents who are hundreds of places above them by ranking, anything close to 50% wins would be a really good set of results.

If the women can get close to the mens success yesterday that would be a big result!

And dont forget to have a vote in this before the end of the week.

Hmm the OOP is not a good one regarding the only streamed court (IMO). If you are there though- enjoy court 3!

I'm surprised that Katy D v Alize Cornet is not on the streamed court.  Just Emily App from a British perspective. Lois Boisson and Iva Jovic I quite understand, but Udvardy v Saville would not have made my quartet.

Im surprised that this is the only court being streamed. Im sure that the BBC had all courts last year.

I am fairly sure I was clicking between courts last year. But agreed I really wanted to watch Tarvet yesterday I think someone said that it's to do with Tennis TV having the rights now but could be wrong.

I think the betting sites had all courts last year from a fixed camera. The BBC didn't as only the show court had production cameras. They say there isn't room on the other courts for a camera set up but looking at the map I'm sure the courts around the show court could be configured to have space for cameras? One thing's for sure they have to find a solution for more coverage as they can't wait until the 2030s when they move qualifying to Wimbledon Park.
