Ohh no the girls look like belief is not there... 3 set points gone now too!

Another deuce game Ella loses, including a break point *1-4

Millie goes up 6-3* up and plays the 5 worst points of the set. How on earth did she lose that set?!

I'm afraid Millie saw three SPs go (looked like nerves may have been primarily responsible) and Shymanovich takes the first set tiebreak 7-6(6).

Ella loses 4-6 7-5 6-1

Just lost every mini battle. Didn't look like she really believed she could win it.

Millie now losing the plot. I just knew she'd be punished for all those errors on break points in the first set 0-2*

What a frustrating day so far.

Millie has steadied the ship a bit - she's broken back and just played a strong service game to hold to love.

I watched Ella' s third set. She competed well but was just short at the critical points. Sounds like she should have won in two, but still worth the WC

Must be nerves? it's a shame because she is the better player but probably going to lose in 2 somehow.

Maybe dangerous to say but I think Emily will ontinue to.prove to have too much on a grass court.

*4-1

Both easily could've gone through, both nerves and not believing, I'd hope by next Wimbledon maybe they'll have more belief... need Ted Lasso as there coaches haha

Oh Millie. How she didn't win that in straight sets I'll never work out. Had all the chances, the better player by a mile, but just messed up the opportunities she did so well to create. That second set tiebreak was absolutely diabolical, ballooning balls everywhere but the court, horrible double faults.

Loses 7-6(6) 7-6(2)

I guess it's a other very strong showing from a wildcard, but it does feel like she rather gave victory away to an opponent who was more than there for the beating.

Feels very sore and wrong to be 0 from 3 so far. Could/should have won all three.

Emily serves back to back doubles at 5-2 *40-15 and is broken from *40-0.

I feel a Harriet style shriek coming on.
