Hev has quietly gone about her business this grass season, she has more wins than any Brit, maybe not spectacular nameworthy wins, but she has got plenty of grass court time under her belt.
Tauson has decided to start running instead of standing gormlessly watching balls go past her. Hev has a break back point but can't take it and this is now a match
Heather had 40-15* but snuffed out with big hitting and even though Heather is still playing a high level this one looks set to go to three. Tauson just lifted things enough and Heathers first serve has evaporated.
The difference really is the serve only right now! Tauson getting big serves in when there needed and Heathers not getting enough 1st serves in.
Interestingly though - Hev has won 20 out of 22 first serve points, but only got 41% in. Tauson has won 30/41 first serve points, and is serving at 58%
That's a wild result. Didn't J-Peg win a title on grass last week?
Yeah, she beat Swiatek in the final of a WTA 500. Quite a few people had her down as a possible Wimbledon champion, finally breaking that major duck. Often seems to buckle under pressure at the slams.

Exactly why 1st set Heather looks so comfortable I think... if Heather can get back to the % first set she would be fine that was near 60% the next 2 sets been around 30%.
By the by, Iva Jovic is the 17 year old who is very much the same cohort as our three girls
And has broken out, now in the top-100
And has just played a dreadful match, well worse than any of the British three yesterday
