It's been a few years since I last did the queue, been very lucky with ballot in recent times. I know it's got increasingly popular as well.
Anyone able to estimate the time needed to get there in order to
a) Get a C2 ticket - this is my preferred choice for R1 as you have a base for the day and are more likely to see competitive matches than CC and C1. I have no interest in watching Djokovic, Alcaraz etc win 6-2, 6-3, 6-1
b) Get ground pass.
Would 4am and 6am respectively be sufficient?
The only problem now is that there is no on the day parking at all. Seeing as the trains don't start early enough to get me there in time, it's either stay overnight, stay with a mate near Wimbledon and get a middle of the night taxi, or get a taxi from home which will probably be £40-£50.... Dilemma...
This extract from Stuart Fraser's Wimbledon Newsletter won't help with the decisions you have to make, verveandsolley, by there is a handy tip about registering for an account on the Wimbledon app which may be of some use:
Queueing:For all queueing information at this year's Championships, download theWimbledon appand create an account before attending. You can join the queue in Wimbledon Park, about a five-minute walk from Southfields Station. The app provides live realtime scores, radio, videos, player profiles, and queuing statuses.

Did you enter the ballot. If so you nay be able to get a returned ticket but it's a ballache
We queue most years and even arriving as the queue opens for the day, I dont think weve had a number less than 5000 with people pouring into the field. I doubt youd get a specific court ticket without camping out but you would get a ground pass which on Monday should be pretty good. I think they are changing the system slightly this year, hopefully for the better as last year the allocation of numbers was a bit more random. Seemed to be organised more by students than the usual service personnel who always did a great job. The car park charge has also increased hugely from £30 to £50. Having said all that weve enjoyed queuing but it is definitely worth taking your own drinks as the queues were long and very slow last year. If you wanted to take your own car, you could book a place in a nearby driveway. This year I bought the cheapest ticket I could get to avoid queuing and the weather looks good so there will be plenty to see on Tuesday although Monday looks like a better bet re the Brits. Enjoy your day.
R1: Emma Raducanu (GBR) WR38 v Mingge Xu (GBR) WC WR318 {17yo JCH=3} Emma in 3 sets R1: Katie Boulter (GBR) WR41 v Paula Badosa (ESP) [9] WR9 Depends totally on Badosa and if she is fit. I fancy katie to win in straight sets if there is any issue re fitness of Badosa. R1: Hannah Klugman (GBR) WC WR577 {16yo JCH=3} v Leylah Fernandez (CAN) [29] WR29 Fernandez in 2 sets R1: Harriet Dart (GBR) WC WR124 v Dalma Galfi (HUN) WR112 Harriet in 2 sets R1: Jodie Kartal (GBR) WR49 v Jelena Ostapenko (LAT) [20] WR20 Is ostapenko fit? If not I can see Sonay pulling off an upset in 3 sets. R1: Mika Stojsavljevic (GBR) WC WR802 {16yo JCH=5} v Ashlyn Kruega (USA) [31] WR31 Kreuger in 2 sets R1: Jodie Burrage (GBR) WC WR164 v Caty McNally (USA) WR213 Jodie in 2 sets. R1: Heather Watson (GBR) WC WR148 v Clara Tauson (DEN) [23] WR23 tauson in 3 sets R1: Francesca Jones (GBR) WC WR125 v Yuliia Starodubtseva (UKR) WR67 Fran in 2 sets.

Not the easiest draws really but some potential to see some wins. Not sure if anyone will reach the 4th round though.
I think there will be straightforward wins for Jodie, Fran, Harriet and Emma (if fit)
Depending on the opponent's fitness I can quite easily see both Sonay and Katie winning too.
A lot of questions around Emma. She seemed very lackluster at Eastbourne and maybe her back isn't too good. She should neat Mimi but won't get any further if she even plays. Can still see her withdrawing if her back is still not ok.
So, I'm going to propose a different way of looking at the draw, that makes it look a lot better...
All of our players are unseeded. Therefore they must automatically meet a seed in either R1 or R2.
They have been drawn into the sections of seeds 8, 9, 19, 20, 21, 23, 29,31,32(x2).
Okay, I expect seed8 Swiatek to put a stop to Jodie's progress to Round 3; but KB should not be resigned to a R1 exit against seed9 Badosa, on grass at least.
None of the rest of them have any of the top 16 between them and R3, and reaching Round 3 would be a really good result for most.
That 500/1 could be an interesting cashout if mimi or Hannah have a breakout! Obviously very little chance they could go all the way but Mirra hit the quarters on her breakout tourney. Id say both could do that if you are looking at a one in 5 type scenario for either
