Great turnaround Sonay

Yeah that was great but Jelena is currently channeling her anger into smashing winners rather than falling apart which is a shame.

Sonay has played a few lovely shots but 95% of this is on Ostapenko's racket.

*2-5

So, Unlike the first set, when Sonay won 5 games from 2*-5 down, in the second she was broken for 7-5, 2-6

But now in the third, she on a roll again at 3*-0

It is largely on Jelena's racquet though.

Harriet 47%
MikaS 22%

Imho there is vastly more chance of Katie B winning than there is of either Hannah or Mika!

This third set however, our girl is shining bright. Ostapenko is absolutely flummoxed, and as CD says, Jelena is picking and choosing where to use her energy in the sun, and a lot of balls she isn't going for whereas Sonay is scrambling about madly.

Jelena's legs are losing 5*-0.

Penko obviously hates the heat

Refuses to run, or adjust

And Sonay is just running rings round her

So close now....

Very messy game from Sonay there but she's got time. Just needs to bit panic, and accept Jelena is good is going to swing and may hit some screamers.

5-1*

Yes, looks nonsense in theory ( the results will look after themselves )

Latest betting odds against:

Katie  13/10

Hannah  6/1

Mika  11/2

Yes, Penko swinging at everything and finding some winners. *5-2

Back to 5*-2

I do think JO may be nursing an injury. She's pretty leaden footed between points, and this tactic of trying to blast winners and not chase anything is usually employed by players who are struggling with an injury. KB was doing this at Notts, less effectively than Jelena here.

Well done Sonay for upending the odds yet again.
