Fourteen more points - it is a steady advance for her from the 1 point she had when she started her comeback. Fingers crossed for her in the semis - I make it that she is now alongside Hannah in the points totals, with a ranking of around 671, once these points totals go on.

With her single point from last year due to come off, that should take her to 65 points and a ranking of around 625 - it is very satisfying to see her doing so well here.

Great to see her get t9 the final here and so convincingly.

Another step up in terms of opponent in the final.

I wonder if she will play as many events this month now or take a break in between?

I suspect she might play in Spain next week before returning to the states for the following two weeks. If anything I would expect her to skip the W35 in Florence, SC

I agree but it might be subject to.getting into the MD next week. I can never remember if finalists of W35  can get a SE for a w75. She is Q1 so hopefully will nake the MD regardless

If so, play next week, skip the following and play the W75 the last week.

ETA Pretty sure she will be in the MD as I don't think there are any other contenders for the 2 SE spots so she'll move into one anyway, wither with an SE or as Q1 being bumped into the vacant spot.

Top seed in qualifying for the W75 is 3rd on the acceptance list so Katie will be in the MD subject to showing up
