Cash/Glasspool update:

Nominations List :

1. Max Basing - for winning the M15 title in Bali, seeded 4, just his second ITF title and first this year. His previous one was also in Bali! Will take out his career high ranking as a result.

2. Josh Wright (age 15) - completely unranked, never scored a point in juniors in three attempts, and then went on a run and won the singles title at the J30 Angola

3. Lloyd Glasspool and Julian Cash - extended their winning streak to 22 matches in capturing their fourth successive title and first Masters 1000 title in Toronto and reaching the semifinals in Cincinnati. In doing so, Lloyd sealed the No. 1 doubles ranking, with Julian rising to a career high No. 2. They also claim a place in the Tour Finals.

4. Oli Tarvet - comprehensive through most of the week in winning the M25 at Roehampton, losing just 16 games in 8 straight sets before the final, where he came back from 4-6 *2-5 down before winning 11 out of the last 12 games to take his first M25 title. This secured a comfortable new ranking high in the top 400, showing live 385 as I write this.

5. GB Under 12 Boys - winners of the European Summer Cup, the same team of Tomas Gabor, Kai Max Hopkinson and Cameron Rae became the first British team to win both Winter and Summer Cup trophies in the same season.

6. Alicia Dudeney - well outside the top 1000, and only 22 and fresh from college, Alicia storms through to win the W35 at Roehampton

7. Oscar Weightman - it started in July, when Oscar took the step to enter the Newport challenger grass event, racking up a main draw win. He took that form into August, which is what interests us, got to the last 8 in Dublin and Roehampton and now takes his second ever ITF title in Finland. His month as of writing is 9 wins and 2 losses, an impressive haul and exciting to see what he does next.

8. Arthur Fery - Winning his first challenger title, triumphing in the final via walkover. The title marks a key milestone in his return from injury, with strong performances throughout the tournament. This win also sees him break back into the top 250 where he deserves to be and higher soon hopefully! Not many points left to defend this year!

9. Esther Adeshina and Victoria Allen - for winning the Dublin W15 doubles and runners-up in the Aldershot W35. Significant jump in the rankings for Victoria, up from 550 at the beginning of July to a new CH of around 375 when the points go on

A few of these are playing this week, I see, and may need an update to their narrative. Max is in Thailand, for example. If anyone does see a relevant update that would be a build on the current narrative, please just go ahead and do it, don't wait for the original nominator to do it - this is a collegiate effort!
