Just realised that the draw will almost certainly be made using the current rankings, meaning that Atmane, live ranked 69 thanks to his Cinci heroics, will only be seed 25 in qualies.

Tomic must also now be a doubt given the Fery W/O? Then we just need one more! not that I'm wishing injury on anyone!

From tweets I saw, Tomic withdrew because of qualies not due to an injury, could be wrong. Ie wanted to get to New York, apparently the final had been delayed so he bailed?

Re Ryan / is he in New York? Or has. He flown in case? Or does he wait and find a flight tonight ?! Expensive options - to just be there in case?

Kubler and Harris have been injured a lot so hopefully they are just there for the cheque.
Bolts last 2 matches have been losses to Hussey and Fery so lets hope for the hat trick
Mayot is struggling for form and lost to Brits a few times last year.
Trotter and Zhukayev are decent draws.
Jay has a junior with hardly any experience
I cant really make a case for Jan!

JoMo beat Atmane in 2 sets at Ilkley - albeit on grass!

Being honest, my hopes for any of them to get through are very low. If Dan was anything like, hed walk his section, but hes not and he wont.

Loffers draw gives me most positive vibes, and Billy after that, but I cant see either of them making it through.

Hope Im wrong - great to have 7 here, but dont expect any to qualify.
