I didn't see any of Dan's match last night, but it does seem that it was very close. A fit and in form Lloyd Harris was always going to be a tough proposition.  Dan was defending 100 points here - remeber his R1 win gainst KK last year?  5hrs 35mins!

I'd like to know what Dan's plans are for the rest of the year. I think he loves playing, even at Challenger level, so maybe he'll continue a while more.

Thank you Seagull. Did you glean this information from the entry lists on MTF or do you have some other source?

There are 6 weeks of back to back biggish chhallengers in France starting in week 36, that would be way fewer air miles. But full of French! Who are often under ranked and are adept at duffing up the Emglish on their home soil.   In the month of Septemver, there are flights from Bristol to Marseille for just £23, perfect for the Casssis event!

All 4 are winnable, but we know it doesnt work out like that - but a couple of these through would be nice. And Ryan waiting in the wings as first alt as well...

If I remember correctly, Dan lives in Dubai, so I wouldn't be surprised if heading to Asia is actually more cost-effective for him.

Are comments like this necessary? With the world in 2025, people come from a lot of different backgrounds and whoever they choose to represent, based on their own affinity to that culture or support... that's up to them.

A good start anyway from JPJ leads 3-0. Jan meanwhile is 2-5*
